PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR TERMS

These Professional Contractor Terms apply to every professional registered on BettaTrust.

By completing registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

1. Appointment

You agree to provide professional services as an independent contractor engaged by SUJ BettaTrust Limited.

These Terms do not create an employment relationship.

2. Scope of Engagement

You may receive service requests through BettaTrust based on factors such as:

• availability,
• location,
• service category,
• customer preferences,
• performance history.

BettaTrust does not guarantee any minimum number of assignments.

3. Professional Standards

You agree to:

• perform services competently,
• comply with BettaTrust policies,
• communicate professionally,
• arrive on time,
• protect customer property,
• comply with applicable laws and safety requirements.

4. Verification

You must maintain accurate and up-to-date information, including any required identity documents, certifications, licences, or other information requested by BettaTrust.

Providing false information may result in immediate suspension or termination.

5. Payments

Customers pay BettaTrust using approved payment methods.

BettaTrust calculates your earnings in accordance with the applicable pricing structure and your Contractor Agreement.

Payments may be made after:

• service completion,
• verification,
• customer confirmation where applicable,
• resolution of any outstanding disputes.

6. Platform Fees

You authorize BettaTrust to deduct applicable platform fees, commissions, taxes (where applicable), refunds, or other agreed deductions before settlement.

7. Customer Relationships

Customer information obtained through BettaTrust may only be used for fulfilling platform bookings.

You must not:

• request direct payments for platform bookings,
• encourage customers to bypass BettaTrust,
• misuse customer information,
• engage in fraudulent conduct.

8. Quality Assurance

BettaTrust may monitor service quality through:

• customer feedback,
• photographs,
• inspections,
• supervisor reports,
• performance reviews.

Repeated poor performance may lead to suspension or termination.

9. Insurance and Compliance

Where required by law or by BettaTrust, you are responsible for maintaining any necessary licences, permits, registrations, or insurance relevant to your services.

10. Suspension and Termination

BettaTrust may suspend or terminate your access to the platform for reasons including:

• fraud,
• repeated poor performance,
• safety concerns,
• document falsification,
• policy violations,
• misconduct.

11. Confidentiality

You must protect confidential information relating to BettaTrust and its customers and must not disclose or misuse such information.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
